I've a pentium iii, 933 Mhz with 512mb ram.
sometimes monitor freezes and the power-on button cant turn off. I'm forced to switch off electricity. After I've done this I need the press the power button 3 times to start up.
Other times it needs kicking to start.
Feels like a problem with cooling. Any ideas? |

Problem starting up - PSU ?
On the other hand, freezing can be related to maindoard failing...
Do you have any program on your PC to check how hot your cpu and everything else is ? |

| Uh yes it was a heating problem. Temperature shot up from 40 deg. C to 56-57 within a few seconds. Turned out there was too much dust in the fan. After cleaning it the problem has been solved. |
