Hey all,
Just had to buy this one from eBay. Can anyone tell me, what the "SD18" is? Apparently it is not an sSpec, but then, what is it?
Does anyone know what the "IV" means - is it a stepping? And are "IV"s always Double-Sigma? I don't think I've ever seen an IV with Double-Sigma?
Hopefully it is not considered doubleposting, that I also posted this in the "latest find" thread?
Best regards, |

"IV" - CHMOS IV technology, without "IV" - CHMOS III.
SD18 is multi-speed sspec. |

Thanks, but would it be likely to assume, that although they aren't necessarily marked with the double Sigma, they will still be flawless? I would suspect, that Intel would have corrected any design faults, at the time they changed to the IV production technology? |

SD18 is multi-speed sspec. |
Does that mean, that any SD18 can run at 33 MHz? |

No, only ones with 33 speed grade will do it guaranteed. |
