Made it for fun.
Try to answer without using any resources.
Sort in ascending order by frequency:
1. Celeron 430
2. Celeron 440
3. Celeron 445
4. Celeron 450
Three cpus in this list are 65 nm, one is 45 nm. Which one?
1. Pentium Dual-Core E2180
2. Pentium Dual-Core E2200
3. Pentium Dual-Core E2210
4. Pentium Dual-Core E2220
Sort in ascending order by frequency:
1. Celeron 560
2. Celeron 570
3. Celeron 575
4. Celeron 585
Two xeons in this list are quad core, one is dual core. Which one?
1. Xeon EC5509
2. Xeon EC5539
3. Xeon EC5549
There are three 2-,4-,6-core Westmere-EP Xeons in this list,
each has maximum frequency in its group. Sort them by cores count.
1. Xeon X5687
2. Xeon X5690
3. Xeon X5698
Oldschool bonus:
Sort 8087 FPUs in ascending order by frequency:

There is no common sense in marketing! I won't do well on this test! But I will try .

If I remember correctly the X5698 had very high clock rate and just a couple of cores. In my opinion (I haven't checked the specs) the correct order is 3, 1, 2

Gennadiy is right.
X5698 probably has the highest default freq. among all Intel cpus. |
