Anyone in love with the chips collecting some times have prints that are almost perfect...but have a little paint scratch or missing.
There its 2 ways to resolve this, to find another one with perfect print and spend more money or RESTORE BY HAND !!!

Here is my first try with pics of before and after.

Materials used:
- 000 or 00 model brush ( 0,5mm and 0,2mm tip)
- Lupe 10x or more magnify
- DyeCast Models small paints ( black matte and glossy finish, white and dirty white colors)
- SUPER STEADY HANDS !

Lets do the paint job..

Do this only on cheap chips. The effect is great, but I am sure in another angle reflections will tell. Only the original paint can fix and even then fixed is close to faked.
And that would not be a good idea on a real valuable one.

Yes i understand, the collectors like the "real deal" i just do this 2 ones to try the result.
But i think in a 3-10€ don´t really take down the " the collect value"
Yes its true with the correct incident light its easy to see the retouch, its never like the original one.
Thanks

no problem on a few-bucks-chip.
When you like it in a display and it is for your fun, hey, who can forbid it?
