Yes, that is special reason why I'm not buy on ebay often 4,50 in Germany ? So shipping to poland will cost 15 euro ?
Honestly seller who sold me cpu from Austria wanted 1,5 euro (with priority) and second from Germany 55 cents.
Making money on shipping cost makes me angry _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Hi!
You're right. But then I can't provide SECURE shipping costs (I send with "Hermes-versand" and so secure shipping in a little box is much more cheaper than per "Deutsche Post").
OK, I also can ship it (optionally) in a "Warensendung" (wares-shipping)
(I've added this shipping option to ebay!!)

| WOW, you're all actually complaining that the seller isn't charging you actualy shipping costs? Don't be so sad! So what if he charges 1.50 Euro for shipping, you should be extremely HAPPY that someone in ANOTHER COUNTRY is charging such a looooow price for shipping costs. There are other things included in the cost like handling fees. Driving to the store, using packing material, printing labels, time, effort, etc. Well, you get the point. |

Hi!
Thank you. But my shown shipping costs are within Germany only. I think, to foreign countries it will take 3-5 EUR. |

I don't have the same point of view.
Shipping is for :
Stamp,
Packaging material (if new, of course...)
(driving to the post office) -> it is difficult to quantify, because even if it is far away from your home, if it is on your way, it costs nothing...
And not :
Effort,
Time,
Paypal fees,
EBay fees,
etc...
You earn money for your effort and your time on the final price of the auction, not on the shipping...
I'm beginning to put negatives on EBay for sellers who charge me 3-4 times the real price (examples : 17€ for 5€ of stamps with used package, or 9$ for 1,60$ of stamp ; and of course, first I'm asking explanations), and you know what, I'm getting insults and negatives too from them ... |

Yes, I'm the same opinion like Mixeur. I will give (and I gave) negative feedback for very high shipping costs. No "normal" shop will charge you extra for the fuel of their cars etc... _________________ Frank. |

| First of all you guys cant go around, buy something, and then complain about the shipping cost AFTERWARDS. You must ask the seller before you bid. Once you bid, you're legally binding yourself to any of the sellers terms and conditions. EVEN IF the shipping costs aren't posted on the listing, you are still obliged to ask. |

Yes!
The two are right.
But, if we are honest it makes a better feel, if you have a couple more of money for your own from shipping costs if your ebay offer was sold for only 1 EUR or so.
I always take a little few EUR-Cents for packaging/time etc...
But I make NOT shipping-costs who are not untenable.
Myself are angry if I see ebay-"POWER!"Sellers who makes money without end with silly big shipping-costs (for example: 3 EUR for an usb 2.0 2.5 inch case and 8 EUR shipping costs!! ) |

Yes, of course.
But when you pay for example 20$ for shipping (and you agree for it), you will only realize once the item arrive, that the seller made you a special price for shipping...
And it is your right to be angry to pay 20$ instead of 5$...
If there is something wrong with what you receive (bad package, wrong object, wrong shipping costs...), it is your right to ask explanation, and eventually let a neutral or a negative feedback... |

| Yes, shipping costs about 20$ (and real only 5$) is absolutely not fine. I think I would act the same way (negative valuation, ask to transfer money for back because of too high shipping costs, etc...). |

Don't forget that auction are a kind of game.
Sometime you win, sometime you lose, and shipping are not here to be sure to never loose...
If sellers don't want to loose, they can set an higher starting price...
And the problem, I must repeat, is not high shipping price, but unjustified high shipping price. This is a big difference ! |
