They say it's a interrupt controller.
But 80130 is NOT a interrupt controller ! It's a some sort of coprocessor !

I have never seen such AMD type before!

I am not sure about this.
Have you read the 80130 datasheet ?
A small quotation from it - "The OSF extends the iAPX 86, 88 architecture by providing 35 operating system primitive instructions, and supporting five new system data types, making the OSF a logical and easy-to-use architectural extension to iAPX 86, 88 system designs."
I think it is rather a addition to 8086, 8088, 80186 amd 80188. |
