This board worked but it will need to have the battery replaced
as it is corroded. (I can probably have that done for some kind of fee
but you may be able to do it a lot cheaper.)
(1) motherboard with AMD Am386 DX/DXL-40 processor $$25.00
Free shipping to AVICC or direct to you worldwide at cost by USPS.

It worked when I pulled it from the PC it was in but it will need
the battery replaced. I can offer a 7 day DOA warranty on this board
for you to replace the battery. |

It's not a non-working battery that I'm worried about; these boards work very well without any battery attached. What I am worried about is corrosion from the leaking battery which will destroy the motherboard traces. Leaking batteries are the number one cause of permanent death of motherboards from that era. So if it worked the last time you tried, and then the battery leaked- it is very likely it's not working now anymore.
I will take it, but if it doesn't POST then I'll return it as leakage damage can almost never be repaired. |

I received the board yesterday, did some quick surgery and cleanup. It's alive! Later on I will attach a battery holder from Rafio Shack and 2 AA batteries, but like I said the board can function without a battery ay all. I'm happy. The damage was much less than I feared. |

I mean under the battery after I took it off. Had some leaked chemical residue, fortunately very lighy and superficial only. |
