I don't know exactly what the Intel versions look like, but is there any way it could have been an Intel piece stamped with the AMD logo considerably after the manufacture date? Or in other words, do you think it could be a fake? _________________

I have an AMD AM9080 that has both markings, is this something special/rare or just uncommon?

Double marking with AMD and Intel part numbers is common for AMD 8080 processors. Purple ceramic/Gold lid and pins package is much less common.
