In 1972, electrical engineer, M George Craford invented the
first YELLOW colored LED for the Monsanto Company using
gallium arsenide phosphide:

This year (2014) Isamu Akasaki (Japan), Hiroshi Amano (Japan)
and Shuji Nakamura (USA) were awarded the Nobel Price in
Physics for inventing the BLUE light-emitting diode (LED) 1994,

Yah lol lots of people HATE monsanto, part of why I wrote the article
Also hilarious, there are many who are VERY against anything with LEDs, because..Monsanto made LEDs so they must be bad for you lol _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
