I have this Intel Premiere/PCI board Socket 4, but it doesn´t post. It has aditional 3,3V connector between PCI slots, which I donť have on my power source. Does anyone know if the board post without Aux connector connected?

I had one and can confirm that it'll work without the 3.3v power connected. The 3.3v power is only supplemental for PCI devices. Please note that the board does not support proper 3.3v pci - only 5v.

I would hook-up a speaker, the board is pretty good about beep codes. although there's nothing really replaceable on the board... at least you would know what its complaining about...

Thanks. I have connected speaker but no beeps at all. Tried many SIMM modules as I heard, that board is picky about RAMs. Tried 2 CPUs, power sources, ISA, PCI VGA. Probably is really dead.

I found my board to be quite UN-picky about SIMMs. Board doesn't support EDO ram, but uses those modules just fine. Took 2-chip simms, 2k/4k/8k refresh, composite simms...

If no beeps, then I suspect the board is DEAD Sad

Can always try and "bake" it, maybe a good reflow will fix things???

just noticed that your board doesn't have the 5.25v VRM (needed for 66mhz cpu). I would check the jumper settings and make sure the board is set for 5.0v (60mhz) on VRM and CPU speed.

Thanks for advice, FSB is set to 60MHz, but I didn´t try fast page RAM.
