Can i use Intel Core 2 Duo T9300 to upgrade compaq C700 with Intel chipset GM965 with socket P current processor Intel T5750

Core 2 Duo T9300 is supported by your chipset, but may not be supported by your BIOS as the T9300 is based on newer architecture than the T5750. If you have any "Penryn" processor in house, try to install it and see if it works. Or, you can grab something like Pentium T4200 or T4300 for a few bucks on eBay. If it works then it is very likely that the T9300 will work as well.
