A friend asked me to locate this CPU for him. What better place to do that then here? 
It is for a running machine so working is a must. I'll wait for offers for a couple of days before going to eBay.

It will be cheaper to buy a Xeon E5450 or X5470 (the latter is faster) with a mod to work in a socket 775 board. There are lots on eBay, just search for Q9650 and they're all there.
