Almost all my life I have lived and grown with computers. I wouldn't say I'm a total expert in any particular one field apart from selling them Wink

I have bought built and sold 1000's of PC's. 99% of the being INTEL / AMD / CYRIX. Most of my collection is based on these 3 main manufacturers.

Now who and what are NEXGEN? And why have I never heard of them before I started collecting processors? Embarassed

I think the chips look cool... just would be cool to know a little history / use one first.

Nexgen is so famous because it was their team that deisgned the AMD K6 and K6-2 CPU's, which really put AMD on the map.

they were short lived (because AMD saw a good thing and bought them out) so there arent alot of them to be had.
