| I've found some very basic references to this chip as being a Signetics CPU, but can't find any other details. Anyone have any further details about this item? |

I managed to find info on it. It's a Signetics 16-bit bipolar Schottky technology microcontroller in a 50-pin DIP circa ~1986. Datasheet is here:
http://www.datasheet4u.com/html/8/X/3/8X305_ETC.pdf.html
Is this a desirable and/or usual CPU for collectors or is it common? It's marked "SKS" and not "Signetics." Or is SKS = Signetics? |

You can also have a look on Chris' cpu-museum.com where you can see awhite one.
for intel-only-collectors it's worthless, for others it's one that fits in the "first"-schematic, so it is quite collectible.
btw, I have one for trade, any offer that you rate about $15?
cheers, michael |
