These are a neat 25MHz 8051 MCU meant to be used in secure applications (like ATMs and credit card machines)
They have encrypted program memory (w/ the key stored in battery backed SRAM), true Random number generators, two self-destruct inputs (how cool is that lol)
The die is also physically shielded to prevent die level attacks, and can initiate a self destruct as well.
Dallas DS5250FP-125 Secure MCU $5 each or 2 for $8 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
