CPU Shack: HP MC2 16-bit Processors - SOLD OUT

HP 1AA1-6004 Microprocessors. These are HP MC2 Processors, a 16-bit CMOS Silicon-On-Sapphire design.
They run at 8MHz at 12V and are packaged in a very cool white ceramic 48 contact pinless package.
The MC2 architecture uses 8 16-bit general purpose registers, and treats I/O as if it were a set of registers as well (very unusual design)
Interestingly the MC2 can be ran in slave mode, where another processor can access its registers directly.

The HP 1AA6-6004 is a modification of the design used to handle HP-IB
