Meanwhile, I'm working on the design of 8008 test system, I made expansion panels for MCS-80 test-board for testing Intel 8085 and Zilog Z80 CPUs in that.
The expansion panels should be connected into the CPUs ZIF socket and to the expansion heads. So that a 48 pin expansion connector has to be soldered into the MCS-80 test-board. And that's all. No other modifications needed. Just inserting and testing the CPUs.

The waiting list of i85 + z80 exp. set:

I'll finalize the PCB design of this test expansion panels soon.
I'd like to know who is interested in. Based on that I can order the PCBs and components.
I think the expansion tools will cost around $12-$15 each. And I'll send the expansion connector to be soldered into MCS-80 board.

Are you also working on a 8088/8086 test board ? I started writting some schematics (for all 8086 I/O) some weeks ago, but your work is much more impressing than mine Very Happy

I assume V3 of the MCS-80 board will have this built in? (or at least the header)
