I have exactly the same as the photo MCM (photo not mine). There is an assumption that this system 3090, but there are no facts, evidence.
Help me understand from what the mainframe of IBM this processor? I can not identify this processor.
Thanks! The question is closed. The answer is found!

You are welcome. I save any documentation of these exotic IBM gizmos that I come by, and I recognized this, with its "halfed" processor cores.

If anyone has documentation regarding the S390 G5, I'd greatly appreciate it Smile

But I have a G4. CPGA- 3526, can be supplemented here: http://gecko54000.free.fr/?documentations=IDENTIFICATION_IBM

That is something I'd like to know as well.

I have a 2nd Power2+ (no heatsink) I'd like to trade for a Power2.

Here's what I did for mine, I used a metal saw to cut through the metal frame in order to have 2 weak points. Then heat it up with a heat gun, and use pliers to carefully fold the frame like a sheet of paper.
