Hi,
I got one chip in relatively poor condition. Marking is hard to read, but there is perspicious SAB 80288-1-R.
What is it, please? Somewhere I find information that it's bus controller, elsewhere says, that it's CPU (8-bit 286 - analogy to 8088, 80188). What's right, please? |

Hmmm may be, It's really very hard to read.
I haven't equipment for macro photo, pictures are taken only through a magnifying glass 
There's one more detail of questionable character. Under different viewing angles looks ... different. |

| And S214287 is most probably Siemens part number for 80286-1-R. |

BTW - occasionally, sometime someone talking about the 80288 - what is it?
8-bit version of 286 or bus controller?
