Thanks for the info. The site was helpful and intrersting.
My follow up questions are these are in great condition (still in ESD case from manufacture and no bent pins or visible significant scratches)....would something like this be worth something to a collector?
If so....Is there a best way to sell these chips (e-bay, private auction, chip collector convention?)
Second question is a little weird but I found a rare r2d2 in the box from Canada kenner 1977 and put it up on ebay (sold for 1618 usd) but found out by collectors It would have been better to go to a private Star wars auction. Just doing my homework about this before I do any posting.
Thank you for responding so quick!!!! |

The cpu shack - topic
Part 1: Why Collect Vintage Chips?
Part 2: What Vintage Chips should I Collect?
Part 3: How do I collect Vintage IC’s?
The postings were very helpful.
I'm wondering what this would go for.....I might put them up for auction from my e-bay store -Rare Private Parts-, but not sure for all 3 or 1 for each piece.
Any extra info on this would be appreciated.
Thank you again for your sites and info. |
