I have a HP G62 - 346NR notebook. I have a stock AMD P340 dual core 2.2. I would really like an upgrade if that is possible. What are my options? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Update BIOS to latest version and try with Phenom for example AMD Phenom II P650. Not sure if it will be recognized but for 6 USD at eBay is worth a try

So i am running windows 10 and the most recent BIOS is already on my laptop. I checked Hp support and they dont even have windows 10 listed there 
BIOS version/date - HP F.29, 4/7/2011.
