I know Coppermine and later PIII/Celeron won't work in a board designed for Mendocino celerons, but will Mendocino chips work in the later boards? _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Usually yes but some late Tualatin boards like Asus TUSL2-C (i815) officially do not work with Mendocinos.
They can be forced with proper unofficial bios IIRC.
All 440BX boards will run it no problem.
All 815 boards without Tualatin support should do it too (maybe there are rare exceptions, but I don't think so). |
