All participants have the chip in the collection, or the price is too expensive?
Price reduced. Now, $27 for 1 piece! It's almost the purchase price of these chips.
If there is no desire to buy here, I have only one way - Ebay _________________ WTB List / Trade List |

From datecode 51 week 1976 year makes them very early 6800 CPUs. I know that USD is more expensive now but that may be last chance to grab them. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Hello to all the participants of this wonderful forum!
Member of the Forum drew my attention to the following: a careful survey objects on the photo SFF96800K in good quality seen in chips other print: It's like the MC6800. This remake. http://itmages.ru/image/view/5197576/89c168a1
Scanning: http://itmages.ru/image/view/5216092/33effa81
I asked about these chips and the seller said he got this chips from "Spare accompanying products" for the equipment. These chips have got to the factory repair electronic equipment (Nizhny Novgorod, Russia) is about the 1985th when the Soviet Union. Since they were in the warehouse and then came under the recycling program unclaimed equipment. As a result, he was able to leave them currently.
All the chips I got in this pack. There were lots of chipped: http://itmages.ru/image/view/5216017/058b7841
I ask you to look into this situation. Communication with colleagues collectors that this factory remake.BUT WHY??? Here in the former Soviet Union were never reprinted. This means that they arrived in the Soviet Union in 1985 as such. Why??? Who needs it was ??? Help solve this problem.
With regards to my sale if there is a wish to abandon the purchase, I do not mind. If you paid for then I will return the money back. Selection and decision for all the participants of this forum.
Thank you and I apologize for the inconvenience. _________________ WTB List / Trade List |

I knew they are reprinted from beginning. I think they were remarked just after Motorola produced them. Sescosem remarked them because most propably they had a contract to provide chips but they hadn't enough in own stock or that was after they stopped their production of these chips. No doubt they are genuine in my opinion. Date code on right edge propably means when they were made by Motorola. They engraved original date code from cleaned gold cap at remarking. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

I have one I got a year ago (badly chipped lol), its the same
Its not unlikely that Sescosem didn't make any of their own, just rebranded motorola's. Fine really as they are still nice chips and an important part of the 6800s history _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
