| Does anyone know if there a substitute for the PGA478B chip that will give me 64bit architecture? Refurbishing an old Gateway310. |

There are few 64bit capable 478 Pentiums 4, but you need also support from motherboard BIOS I think. Forum members found 2 motheboards which added support for 64bit.
