Upgrade a Toshiba Satellite L845D-SP4296FM

Hi, I want to upgrade my Toshiba Satellite L845D-SP4296FM, has a A8-4500M processor and i need to know if i can change the processor to a A10-5750M or what is the better procesor that i can use, thank you very much for your reply.

Probably yes. Of course it depends on BIOS support, but in my experience the Richland and Trinity mobile processors can be interchanged. A10-5750M is the best compatible processor.

Toshiba has the information about CPU compatibility. Usually this information is located in a service manual, but I did not find a service manual for Satelllite L845D. So I do not know.

You could try to contact Toshiba to ask them, but they probably will not answer.
