Hi all I have a nice amd 486 dx4 sv8b in my collection, and recently I was testing it out of curiosity because I am building a new 486 system. From tje specs this chip should have 8kb of L1 cache, but from the tests I performed with memspd and cachechk, it turns out to have 16kb, like other variants of the amd dx4. Anybody knows why?
I have photos of this, I could post them if can be of help.
The markings on the cpu say the following:
Am486 DX4-100
A80486DX4-100SV8B
C 9645APB
M AMD
3Volt
Heatsink req'd.
Thanks!

| These chips are pretty common and contain an Am5x86 core. They have 16 kB and support 4x multiplier. Chances are good that you can run them at 133 MHz. |

| Nice! So I scored a 133Mhz part, not bad. I'll try to push it to 4x, and see what comes out. |
