Hello. I have this old laptop Acer Aspire 1300 and, just for an exercise, I want to replace its CPU Amd Duron. But I do not know how to open the socket A462. The CPU is not soldered, but it will not come off easily. There must be a trick that I do not know. See photo here: https://imgur.com/a/2V236 Can anyone help? Thanks and regards

The tabs on the ends of the socket are screwdriver slots. Insert screw driver in the shorter end and twist slightly to unlock. Top of the socket slides a little. To lock the socket back up, do the same thing from the other end. Be gentle, it doesn't take very much effort.
