AMD was a second source for the SIgnetics 29X3xx Line of Processors
THese are new old stock PDIP50s which are pretty rare
These are an 8-bit processor running at 10MHz and designed in a way to make work with signals easier (they are a precursor to a DSP) and used extensively in hard drive controllers and communications systems
