Is there really such a thing as an AMD A80486DX4-90NV8T? I had never heard of it before seeing it on eBay. This one http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=684156795 just sold for 50 Euros - I wouldn't have bid that high but even if I would I don't know if it's a fake or not?

Oops, I cut out one too many digits when shortening the URL. It should be:

It is a special version of AMD 486 made for Compaq computers.
Quite rare.

You could find it cheaper, twice less expensive is a good deal.
There are always crazy bids on Donvino's auction.

I'd have paid maybe 15 Euros for it, but 50? That's just mad!

I was bidding on that...

but at that prize?!?!? Brick wall OMFG!

As Mixeur said, they are rare but there are cheaper.

When you mention crazy prices on Donvinos auctions i think it was he who sold an AMD SX2-50 for around 60 euro a couple of months ago. I got mine for 1,50 euro Wink

Can't remember what I paid for my SX2-50s, but I think about 15 EUR for the two. Won't pay that much any more though - I'm getting to see what a little patience and a short wait will do for my bank balance Smile

30 MHz FSB.
3x coeff
3V voltage

Except FSB (and so, frequency), nothing special...
