i need some help figuring out exactly what i have here. My girlfriend bought a box off of offer up for $100 for the hell of it and i think its was someones vintage chip collection, at least it appears so to my untrained eye. but i could use some expert opinion as to whether or not it actually is or not. there are a few things that stood out to me like all the ones marked 'sample' or 'prototype'
as well as several that say 'AMD' as well as 'Intell' on the same chip. any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks. oh and i had to use an external site to host the images, they were to large for ere, it wouldnt let me upload them, guess my phone takes large photos.

Hi. From that what I see there are many of military grade components include Intel and AMD 80186 CPUs. Nice Zilog CLCC CPU. You have to make more close-up photos to tell you more details about chips. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

There are a few gems in amongst them but nothing really valuable by the looks of it. _________________ The Older they are the Better they are. |

ill get some close up photos of it. and the plan was to figure out what it all is out of curiosity but they will definitely be sold at some point, happen to see something you like? out of alll the numbers on these things, which do i use to look up the chip? some of them have 3 and 4 rows of numbers, do i use the whole string? or just 1 line? damn esoteric chip labeling... |

Photograph them in smaller batches but make sure the markings can be seen clearly and don't use a flash. Photograph them in natural daylight if you can.
The maximum sized photo you can attach to a post is 250K but you can attach several photos to each post _________________ The Older they are the Better they are. |
