Here is a nice vintage Socket 3 VLB 486 M-board w. 4 sticks of memory (unknown size). Made in Taiwan.
The cache memory is missing and the barrel battery was removed to prevent corrosion.
A jumper diagram shows how to configure the board to work with Intel, Cyrix and AMD CPUs of many speeds.
There is some small corrosion on a resistor leg, but I can't test it, so the combo is offered for parts or experimenting only.
$10. plus shipping.
(If you are outside the US, shipping to AVICC may be your best choice.) _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html

| Question: does that board take an external battery? And would that require 3x AA or AAA for that since it looks like it used a 3.6V NiCd battery? |

It had a barrel battery that was dead and was removed. A coin battery socket could be soldered into the 2 battery holes as a replacement.
However, I just noticed that there is some minor corrosion on a resistor next to the battery location, so I am reducing the price to $10 and offering the board for parts or experimenting only. Shipping to AVICC will be about $6. _________________ My collection list (growing) http://johnorun.x86-guide.com/en/collection.html |

| How much is it for Shipping to Sterling Heights, MI 48313? I'm potentially interested. As for the corrosion, I have a can of DeoxIt that can fix that. |
