I found the site for the BIOS: https://web1.toshiba.ca/support/isg/drivers/archives/files_Archive/Index/bios_upgrade.htm
Make sure you have a working floppy drive, blank diskette, and computer running Windows or MS-DOS to make the BIOS diskette by unzipping or running the EXE file to image the diskette. Insert the diskette into the laptop's diskette drive, let it do its thing, and it should be all set. |

Surely if the BIOS is faulty, it would be impossible to boot to any disk? _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Surely if the BIOS is faulty, it would be impossible to boot to any disk? | on the screen as displayed, it States to insert the BIOS diskette to repair the damaged BIOS (it'll use the diskette to access the BIOS files in order to repair it). My Packard Bell Pack-Mate 28 Plus has a jumper to use a diskette to restore the BIOS, if it goes bad or won't POST if there's beep codes emitting causing the system to not boot.
Edit: my phone's keyboard doesn't like my big thumbs.
