Someone in another forum has been asking about Cyrix Cx487S-40QP. I only know of them in adapters, and it seems a lot of systems don't detect it. Are these prone to failure? If not, is there a known issue with detecting them on some motherboards?

I have one
It does not work alone.
But if you plug in the adapter a Cyrix FasCache S40, then works perfectly.
