How do you clean CPUs from different types of labels and from thermal compound?
I use Isopropanol. Do you have any devices and technologies you use? Does anybody use ultrasound bath? What liquids do you use for this? |

FOr ceramics I also use a stove glass cleaner, as it cleans the ceramic well. |
Does it affect prints somehow?
Can you post some examples of such liquids? |

For thermal compound I use "extraction gasoline" it is strong for greases but do not hurts the print. Stickers I pre-heat with hair dryer and then clean leftover of glue with previous liquid. For very old dry stickers I have sticker remover liquid which is a bit greasy and I do not use it often. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |
