IBM PowerPC750CXE (Enhanced CX)
Performance sort on these is usually
20 = 400MHz
40 = 466MHz
50 = 500MHz
55 = 533MHz
70 = 600MHz
SO these apparently are higher speed undocumented versions
1x IBM PPC750CXEJP90-3 $7
SOLD OUTx IBM PPC750CXEJP95-3 $7 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

| Last one for me if you don't find any more common 750 CXe version or damaged one soon enough. |

interesting finds
taking an educated guess the -90 speed grade part
is prolly the 700Mhz part Apple used in the fastest iMac G3 they sold.
im not sure what the 95 speed grade part might be, perhaps a 733Mhz part?
it would be fun to solder one onto a 366/466Mhz iBook G3 FW Clamshell and make a 700-800Mhz iBook G3 Clamshell (as the FW clamshells used 750CX CPUs) |
