How much do these early Xeons (QDD1 and QDD2, possibly QDCS) sell for usually? Less than $50 or more than $50? I was considering adding one to my tiny collection (I just started collecting CPUs). Are there any cheaper engineering sample Xeons?

Thanks!

You're unlikely to find them really cheap yet, as they are still a very new platform. They certainly won't be available at collector prices yet. If you find socket 2011-3 CPUs for $50, buy them Smile

Earlier series Xeon ES turn up in our for sale forum fairly often, at more favourable prices. Some sell for around $10.
