These are the 3MHz version of the AMD AM9511A Math coprocessor (ase speed was 2MHz)

This design was licensed by Intel as the 8231A

10x AMD AM9511A-1DC $7 each or a pair for $10

I remember working on one of these for a summer internship when I was in university - jet engine health monitoring system - must have been around 1980 or so (?) so I have a soft spot for these little guys Smile
