These are the later CMOS enhanced P80C88A-2 processors
I tested a few of them and they seem to run happily at 12.5MHz
They are New old Stock
11x Intel P80C88A-2 $6 each or a pair for $10

Didn't know that Intel had a fab in Japan, or are they ceated for Intel? |

That's the assembly location, probably a contract assembler (and possibly a contract fab too)

Also of note these detect as Intel '81 microcode (normal for the 'A') versus the earlier CMOS ones which were Harris microcode
