I am about to buy a new monitor and the ones that im looking at all have DVI-D connectors'. Now, i want to get a graphics card for the monitor, but they all seem to have DVI-I on them.
Do i need to have a DVI-D card to make these monitors work in DVI mode? Or are they all the same?

No, it is normal. DVI-I outputs are for analog and digital signal.
DVI-D is for digital only.

almost all graphic card which have dvi have dvi-i and all LCD are dvi-d
