Hi,
My name is Teena, I'm an eWaste recycler from Canada.
I know nothing about computer hardware aside from scrap value, but I would love to learn!
Being a super newb I will most likely ask a lot of dumb questions to start, but I usually pick things up quickly.
I recently picked up a load of older (early to mid 90s) industrial stuff from a local factory, which lead me to your site, trying to figure out what some this stuff is.
I would much rather sell some of this stuff to people will enjoy it, I was a collector once (hockey cards) so I understand the thrill of the hunt.
I will put up some photos in the next couple of days, maybe you guys can educate me as to what I have. Do I have to host them on a photo site first?
Also feel free to educate me what to look for when picking up eWaste so I can set it aside to post here first. Not that I come across a lot of vintage computers but you never know.
Look forward to getting to know you all. |

Hi Teena
Welcome on CPU-World.
We collect cpu mainly, but you will find collectors of many chips and parts of computer systems, from memories to video cards and support chips.
Their value depends on rarity and oldness.

You can upload up to five photos to this site with each post. If you need more photos in a thread, just add more in replies to your post. Images can be gif, jpeg, jpg, png, tga or tif and up to 350 KB each _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Welcome to CPU-World Teena!
Always good to see recyclers doing their research instead of just scrapping everything _________________ My WTB List

Welcome to the forum. I'm looking forward to seeing what you have to sell. _________________ "The error of youth is to believe that intelligence is a substitute for experience,
