Complete TCM from 1988 vintage IBM 3090 mainframe. Have a number of pictures available. The picture is of the chips only, but I am selling the entire housing. Weight is about 7.5 lbs or 3.5 kg. Best offer plus shipping. I am located in Western Canada and will accept Paypal or Interac transfer.
Remember, these were about $100K new if you didn't have an IBM service contract , LOL.

| Are you selling just the chip, or the chip and thermal assembly together? If the whole assembly, what is the weight, and where will it be shipping from? |

Best offer via PM or email. I'm not interested in that TCM but nice old piece. You should get more offers if you say where you from and which payment methods you accept. Shipping costs variants are also welcome. Good luck with sale. _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |

Just as an FYI, it's not an IBM 3081, it's an IBM 3090.
All IBM 3081's came in gold frames and they have a totally different possible maximum die count than the 3090's.
There are 132 spots for dies on a 3081 ceramic module and only 100 spots for dies on a 3090 ceramic module.
Here's a picture that shows an IBM 3081 on the left and an IBM 3090 in the middle and the unit you are trying to sell on the right, which is an IBM 3090 as well.
Click on the picture to see the high resolution version... _________________ "The error of youth is to believe that intelligence is a substitute for experience,
