Here are some very rare processors
Designed by the rather famous Chuck Moore, and later enhanced and licensed to Harris for use in space applications
The NC4016C is made on a 4000-Gate 3 micron Mostek process
The RTX2001GI-8 is Harris's enhanced version (though missing hardware multiply that was in the RTX2000), used on many space missions
You can read about the history of Chuck Moore (he invented FORTH) and these CPUs here

1x Novix NC4016C $75
SOLDx Harris RTX2001GI-8 $50 _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Wish I could afford it but really really can't. Apart from all my other money trouble I just got a bill for $1000 to repair my laptop that died last week... |

It's a $2000 laptop so a new one would be even more expensive. Not a Mac, I'm not into those. It was custom built for me, core i7-6700k and GTX1070 (desktop video chip, not mobile).
Both fans died at the same time, so much for redundancy. And the motherboard fried about 5 seconds later.
At least the video card was OK so I didn't have to get that replaced. It's on a MXM3 module so they can just transfer it to the new motherboard. |
