They are all genuine 8087 chips.

The Chinese cannot produce these chips, and these chips have no market. No value for fraud.

I think the detection software version is too old. It may just detect the hardware serial number. If the serial number of the chip is not in the range, an error message will appear. This $9 8087 chip is a post-production product.

$9 one is clearly a fake - nonsense copyright year.
>No value for fraud.
There is value: they take $1 chip, remark it and now it's $9 chip.
8087s do not have serial numbers.

The market is too small, it will be a loss-making business. The production of chips needs to have a certain scale. Only online retail can not support the cost.
Some late Intel chips may be produced by third-party companies licensed by Intel .
These chips are from countries outside China Imported, and not long-term supply. They are imported into China as outdated materials. Most of the chips are discarded because they are outdated, but they are still brand new and are genuine chips.

I once had a seller on taobao offer to mark any chip with anything I wanted for a small fee LOL
He at the time had 386 DX4s

A lot of the fakes, are real chips, just remarked, very poorly, for 'refurbishment'

so they take an old 8087, clean it up, and remark it for the secondary market, that is quite common

Also see a lot of empty packages marked as all sorts of things, open them up and no die
