Bought this from a Hong Kong seller on Ebay as an Athlon XP 3200+.
I put it in my SOYO SY-KT400 Dragon Platinum Ultra Motherboard which supports Athlon Xp Cpus.
At first boot it says Unknown CPU @ 1100 mhz. I can change the FSB to 166mhz and ratio to 11 and get 1826mhz. If I try 200mhz fsb with 11 ratio it will not boot. Basically no matter what I cannot get to 2200mhz.
I'm no expert, but to me it seems to be a AMD Athlon XP 2500+ - AXDA2500DKV4D.
Also Windows Xp and gpu-z say unknown processor as well. Gpu-z does show an Athlon Xp logo though.
Thank you for any help

DKV4E is a 200 MHz bus CPU. Your board does not support it. Only the 166 MHz version, DKV4D.
Also, your board is Via chipset, no PCI lock. That is why you can't just bump the FSB from 166 to 200. 180 or so is where data corruption will come into play. |

| Ah yes I see that now looking at the specs. I picked up this motherboard brand new complete in box for $5 and assumed it would support it. Thanks for the info! |
