I recently got a RadioShack TRS-80 Color Computer 2 26-3027.

I was having issues getting it to power on, so I pulled all of the chips and re-seated them. Anyways, it has 8 of these ceramic Intel 1272-0652 chips (I've been told these are special 5V-only memory chips for the machine)

The chips are all marked:
1272-0652
S7675

The s-spec doesn't lead me to many helpful pages.

Additionally, the bottoms of the chips are marked:
MALAYSIA
[date code] [some letter]
ES [some number]

Are these engineering sample chips? (I don't have any reason to believe they are... the TRS-80 seems to be a normal unit)

they are most likely RAM chips
'ES' on the bottom is usually a die lot code
