What is the very first x64 CPU that Amd introduced in 2003?
Probably a trivial question but I don't really know much about non Intel stuff, especially modern things with so many different variants.
In other words, the Intel A80386-12 is the first 32 bits x86 CPU, what would be its 64 bits homologue?
Is it the Amd Opteron 140 (OSA140CCO5AG)? And the Athlon 64 3200+ (ADA3200AEP5AP) for mainstream (non server)?
Or something else? _________________ Stelo.xyz Museum (CPU Collection and more) |

Opteron 240 (OSA240CCO5AH), 242, and 244 launched together in April 2003, before the Opteron 140, 142, 144.
Athlon 64 3200+ (ADA3200AEP5AP), Mobile Athlon 64 3000+, 3200+ (AMA3000BEX5AP), and Athlon 64 FX-51 (ADAFX51CEP5AK) launched together in September 2003. |
