Here are some interesting development boards
They were made by S3 Graphics in 2013 (so after they were bought from VIA by HTC)
They are an attempt (it seems not successful?) to enter the Set Top Box market, using a VIA developed CPU
The CPU on these dev boards is an VIA Elite 1000
This is a 1GHz Dual core ARM Cortex-A9 with integrated 2D/3D graphics and video engine with Open GL ES 3.0 hardware acceleration support
It also has 512K of L2 Cache and 64x stream processors
I have 2 type, the larger ones have a pair of SD card slots on the bottom, and more connectors
