You can run a K6-III in many TX mainboards, though there are things to take care of. Many of these boards don't provide for 2.4V usually, and even if they do, they haven't been designed for such load. The K6-III may burn their VRM. A BIOS patch may also be necessary to enable write allocation.
It's much better to run an ASUS TX97 with a K6-III+ instead. _________________ My Active Sales |
