Sorry.
Delivery in July has been delayed.
Because I am designing a special collection box for CPU chips.
I think some of friends might follow the box direct mail.

It can be more effectively accommodating the chip.
It can be placed horizontally or vertically.
Can be extracted separately.
Anti-fall and anti-vibration to avoid chip collision.

Box size: 31*22.5*2.2cm
Internal size: 29.9*21.7*1.8cm
Small grid depth: 10mm
Bottom thickness: 5mm
Top sponge thickness: 8mm
Sponge overflow top 5mm thickness to protect the CPU not fall out of the grid.
The internal use of EVA anti-static protection board to prevent static electricity.

capacity:
Pro: 3*4=12
P5:3*4=12
P54: 3*5=15
486: 4*5=20
386: 5*7-2=33
286: 6*7-2=40
Suitable for CPUs or chips with a thickness of less than 14mm.
*ODP486-100 is 22mm high and can be inserted into the bottom with pins, but the lid will be significantly raised.

Weight: about 310~330g

See the video for impact resistance.

Refer to the picture for shipping costs.
Simple packaging to control weight.
It is recommended that users in the same region merge packages.

Each piece only costs $6.

Finally, I have 4 Pentium Pro trays for sale, each for $5.

I hesitated for a long time but I can't just pass without giving them a try.

I'll take:

1x 286
1x 386
1x 486

To be honnest, I hesitated because I still think that trays are better for very delicate and rare chips. Your boxes looks cool and are designed nicely to protect ICs from shocks, but I fear two mecanical phenomena :

1/ After a long time (10+ years), I saw too many pins contamination with black mud due to the disintegration of foam. With usual trays, there is no contact with the pins.

2/ With time, shocks and vibrations, the top foam touching the CPU can rub off or fade the markings. A couple of my K6-2 were almost erased this way when I moved two years ago. All those who were in trays are fine because the CPU are only retained using the ceramic (without contact with the markings or pins).

Well, if my orders are too awkward for you, then fine, I am cancelling them.
Remove me from the lists.

The order quantity of 286 is too small and it is not produced.

Thanks for your question.
It is precisely because the chip I saved before was inserted into the EPE foam, which caused some bad conditions.

Question 1: The small square has a depth of at least 14mm, so the pins of the chip does not need to be inserted into the EVA foam.

Question 2: Each small square holds the chip tightly, so there is no displacement due to shaking, and no friction.
(Of course, if you put a 486 into the grid of 586, displacement and friction may occur.)

May be misunderstood.
I just want to express that I don't understand why this is the case.
Is there anything I haven’t considered?
For example: the problem mentioned by xsecret.

By reading your post it sounds like you are judging/mocking my order for whatever reason, which is not fine, and you can understand that a buyer might retract his orders in this situation...
If that is not your intention then sorry about the misunderstanding, I can keep my orders.

I was also looking for Pentium Pro Trays, simply because I want to display some CPUs with them (your boxes protect well the CPUs but also hides them with the top foam), and don't actually need the extra protection. And Classic Trays are always safe bets anyway.

There are new usages tried by friends. The 486 with heat sink can be fixed well without bottom and sponge.
OD can separate the fan and the CPU.
