They are a 8-bit core with 16-bit support (16-bit PC, SP, and Index Register)
These are made in Motorola->Freescales-NXPs Chandler AZ fab on a 0.25u CMOS process
10x Freescale MC9S08AW32CFGE 5M75B Mask 44LQFP Package $2 each or pair for $3
